Plughugger Pigments Beyond for Arturia Pigments 3 Synth Presets
Plughugger Pigments Beyond for Arturia Pigments 3 Synth Presets
Beyond is a soundset aimed for modern pop and lighter versions of EDM. The focus of the soundset was use the internal synth engine, using mainly the subtractive part, pushing it as far as possible with additional FM, Unison and the effects in version 3 of Pigments like the multiband compressor and chorus from the Juno.

"beyond is a soundset for contemporary pop, melodic & mellow edm."

To make the soundset more versatile, we added a handful of modern drum samples from the Elektron Analog Rytm as well as some inspirational vocal phrases spoken by a speech synthesizer.

BONUS SOUNDSET: BEYOND PIGMENTS
To bring out another aspect of the sounds we remade our personal favourite sounds based on the concept of old-school Romplers. Instead of using the analog oscillators, we based the this library on more traditional soundsources such as real pianos, strings, guitars, electric pianos, basses - and of course synth sounds - from the Pigments 3 sample library.

Maven is a soundset for Arturia Pigments focusing on old-school electronic music from the 70s and 80s. The original goal of Maven was to take the mellow sound of the Arturia Minibrute 2 and take the sound further with Pigments with higher polyphony, modulation and effects such as reverb, tape delays and analog chorus and flanger effects.

For Maven we put a lot of effort in selecting the right filter to pair with the Minibrute and for the majority of sounds we ended up using either the filters from the Oberheim Matrix 12 or the Minimoog.

Element 27 is the 11th entry in our hardware-centric series of soundsets for Omnisphere, where we focus on one synthesizer, record the most important aspects of it, and recreate its characteristics in Omnisphere.
Element 27 is a hybrid collection of analog and digital sounds, based on the Cobalt synthesizer by Modal Electronics.

The Cobalt is an 8-voice virtual analog synthesizer with a very interesting oscillator section with oscillators (called algorithms in Modal-speak) going from traditional subtractive waveforms to experimental fractal(!) waveforms.
