A unique twist on the piano: Dulciano is a concert grand performed with dulcimer hammers. With a bright and beautifully evocative sound, carefully programmed responsive playability, and a range of customisation and sonic control to fit any musical style.
The Dulciano is a grand piano performed with dulcimer hammers, sampled in incredible detail in a modern concert hall setting.
This unique hybrid instrument produces a similar timbre to a dulcimer or cimbalom, but the longer strings and large soundboard of the piano gives the instrument a richer tone and longer sustain. The instrument also has a much wider playable range than a standard dulcimer or cimbalom (A0 to E6).

This update completely replaces the previous version of the library which required full version of Kontakt 5.3 or above. All the samples will need to be downloaded again.

What happens if you replace an upright piano's felt hammers with real metal-tipped hammers? Hammer Klavier is an avant-garde instrument with a new sound, the dynamic responsiveness of a regular piano, and much greater versatility than the typical prepared piano. Created in partnership with YouTuber and musical mad scientist Mattias Krantz.
The moment we heard Mattias Krantz's new experiment - replacing every single hammer on an upright piano with real, metal hammers - we knew we'd found something truly unique that could inspire musicians around the world. It's not quite like anything you've ever heard before. The sound is reminiscent of a particularly powerful and full-voiced harpsichord, with the dynamic responsiveness of a regular piano and the percussive nature of a hammered dulcimer.

Arco is a beautiful ensemble of four pianos, meticulously sampled in a concert hall with a range of bowed and plucked articulations. Arco is perfect for dramatic swells, shimmering textures and lush melodic lines. Over a year in the making, and the first of its kind, Arco's unique sonic flavours will be a welcome addition to any composer's toolbox. Runs in Kontakt 5.3 or above.
The sound of Arco could be described as a hybrid between a piano and a string ensemble. We took four pianos (two grands and two uprights), put them in a concert hall and performed each note with a range of techniques. After weeks of planning and experimenting, we settled on using nylon fishing line, coated in two types of rosin - bass rosin for the lower range and cello rosin for the upper range.

Glacier Keys is a collection of piano harmonics, performed on a Steinway D concert grand and sampled in incredible detail in a modern concert hall setting. Harmonics are produced by gently placing a finger on the middle of the string, producing a pitch an octave above the natutral note of the string, resulting in a beautiful glass-like timbre, perfect for neo-classical, ambient and minimal compositions, or any situation where you need a piano with a more evocative, glistening tone than usual.
