Everyone has that one friend. The guy who’s afraid to try something new when it exists outside of his comfort zone. Let’s call this person ‘Jimmy’ and let’s assume he’s never stepped foot into a ‘Psychedelic Warehouse’ party before. He’s listened to the repetitious thump from the outside. He’s listened to the surreal soundtracks playing on his buddy’s mix tapes, and he’s read about them on the popular electronic music blogs. He’s learned that it’s a form of modern music designed to make people think, discover new feelings, watch walls melt (and of course occasionally shake their butts to atypical tunes). Poor Jimmy doesn't know what he's getting himself into.

The break. A fundamental piece to electronic inspired music since the 70s. The sound of the break was originally lifted from funk and soul records and served as the backbone to crafting and performing urban minded tunes. It’s all about the groove, the cleverly discovered sample, and the drum swings.
We love the break here at Irrupt, and wanted to give it some mad love in the form of ‘Beats For Da’ Street’, a unique product full of drum loops, one shots, percussive FX and steady head nodding grooves for discerning producers worldwide. Upon hearing this demo, you'll notice the drums have a proper 'live' swing to them. The reason? We used a real human being.

‘To The Streets’ is a product dedicated to the urban dance scene. The lowest bass drops, hip-hop influenced rhythm and melody, deep, thick bass, and music tools inspired by the merging of graffiti culture with the neon rave scene. Also, did we say ‘bass?’ because this product is overflowing with it. More bass than your ass can handle. We’re taking this party outside. No need for the usual clubs, with the ridiculous cover charges and nonsensical door policies.
