On the way to Stingray Towers, we were running up that hill while thinking what our next soundset was going to be. Our ideas ranged from the pretty awesome, to very weird and sometimes down-right strange. In fact, some of the things we came up with were positively loopy.
The days turned into nights and the nights turned into days, yet we still didn't have our idea. Suddenly, the giant door knocker echoed out through Stingray Towers and behind the door was a stranger. The grimly stranger who was trying to sell us a Minimoog so they could raise sufficient funds to travel back home. We bought the Minimoog and fired it up. Quite literally!
After putting out the flames, there was a faint analogue murmur as the circuitry slowly died. We knew there and then, an analogue cinematic soundset needed to be created and thus Retropolis was born. With 120 patches and 77 custom samples, Retropolis will bring your analogue dreams to life. Check out the demos to hear gorgeous keys, thumping pulses and exquisite soundscapes dripping with analogue warmth! Let's not forget the sumptuous synths, oscillating away as though the robots had programmed these timbres themselves. Synth Magic is a collection of Synthesizers were used in the creation of Retropolis such as: Red Sound Dark Star, Alpha Juno2, Kawai SX240, Arp Odyssey, Moog MG-1.
All samples are placed under the control of a very easy to use interface and are accessed via a menu system.
Retropolis has a full effects section and also comes with an Arpeggiator which can also be used to modulate filter cutoff.

Granular Dreams is a collection of 120 presets with 86 double dipped granular sound-sources.
The theme of the sound-set is rooted in an imaginary cinematic sci fi world full of warm analogue synth sounds, distant keyboards, unsettling percussion, and massive, unpredictable sound expanses that are only limited by your mind! Yes, your mind, your experimental mind!

It’s a little-known fact that while we really enjoy a good dream, a devilish nightmare can be just as fun! Throw into the mix the idea of using tiny grains to turn your nightmares into little specs of terror, Stingray Instruments presents to you, Granular Nightmares. A sound set for Omnisphere so grainy, it will give you nightmares! But the cool bit is, it’s not really a collection of horrid noises, it’s a cinematic compendium of sci fi, tension and underscore epic goodness.
