Hypnus Records The Spellbook Max for Live
Hypnus Records The Spellbook Max for Live
The Spellbook is an LFO inspired by sacred geometry. It converts esoteric symbols into modulation signals, enabling you to weave the fabric of nature into your projects.

The device reads the position of a moving dot that travels along the lines of a carefully selected assemblage of geometric shapes.

The eight outputs have separate automatable parameters, enabling complex internal modulations.

Main Features
Seven sacred shapes to control your project or outboard gear
Advanced internal and external modulations
Innovative LFO sourcing and manipulation
Eight outputs can be split into 16
Individual speed multipliers for each output
Synced or free running master clock
Settings that can go far into audio rate
Lightweight performance
Intuitive workflow

Minimum Requirements:
Ableton Live 10
Max 8.1.6

Inspired by Nature is a playful collection of visual Max for Live devices created in collaboration with Dillon Bastan. Produce generative soundscapes, unpredictable melodies and evolving modulations with devices inspired by physical forces and the natural world.

Vector devices
Inspired by Nature contains three vector devices – Vector FM, Vector Grain and Vector Delay. These devices feature a particle system where each particle is a visual representation of an individual voice. Watch as a particle’s movement is influenced by simulated forces of gravity and magnetism, or the particles are sent through a flow field, and hear the corresponding modulation of audio parameters.
Hypnus Records Calculus Ableton Live Hypnus Records Calculus Ableton Live
Calculus is a Max for Live device which helps you calculate note lengths in milliseconds, Hertz and samples based on your project’s tempo. This is helpful when working with effects units and instruments which do not provide synced settings or if you want to add more complexity to your settings by introducing dotted or triplet values. Reverb pre-delay and decay, phaser modulations, delay time, LFO cycles and compression release are just some of the powerful parameters which could provide musical and interesting results with the help of this tool.
