Imagine if your favorite old soul vinyl had the lyrics of today. Splice Originals: Timelapse uses the techniques of yesterday, injected with the modern stylings of today. Produced by Charles Dorman, Timelapse contains original samples from classic soul, Motown, funk, and doo-wop music inspired by legends like Curtis Mayfield, Parliament Funkadelic, and Marvin Gaye. Dorman chopped up these samples for Dila-style resampled sounds and included the original versions for you to engineer to your liking.
This pack includes warm bass lines from a live Fender J Bass, heart-melting doo-wop leads from James Stanley and Alex Montalvo, ratchet funk vocals, guitar solos from Kimball Barker, grinding organs, evolving electric piano, dirty trip hop drums, chopped-up lo-fi samples, and more.
