An incredibly authentic replication of a real harmonica, this instrument features a wide key range with several octaves of every note in the 12-tone scale. The chromatic harmonica can be played in any key, allowing for versatile use throughout several different genres of music. This instrument is widely used for playing blues, folk and county as well as classical, jazz and pop. With its precise articulation and definitive tone, it stands out as a pristine virtual instrument.

We're all united by our deep and profound love of music, in all its forms, in every style or genre, in any instrumentation. It reaches us on a level that we just can't put into words.
But there's something about woodwinds. Perhaps it's because the wind instruments parallel the human voice in both frequency range and overtone structure more closely than any other category of instruments. Whether you're listening to Nicholas Daniel performing Mozart's Oboe Concerto in C Major or hearing the unbridled joy of Benny Goodman on clarinet on the still incredibly hip 1937 recording of Sing Sing Sing, in the hands of these amazing musicians, these woodwind instruments seem like they're speaking directly to you.

Who are we to second-guess this kind of sound, artistic integrity and emotion?

This collection includes the Dunumba, Kenkeni, and Sangban (all from Ewe tribe of Ghana), Gungon (from the Dagomba of Northern Ghana), and Macana Surdo (from Brazil). All are cylindrical, double headed drums, though they are otherwise built quite differently and create a variety of sound. They are typically used for foundation rhythms. Up to 4 velocity levels, with both open and closed (muted) hits.

Atsia Bells

An essential component in African percussion ensembles, these bells provide an important structure to the rhythms. Instruments include Iron Castenet, Kenken, and Toke, and the all important Gankoqui Bells. Gankogui is the foundation of the entire ensemble. Its voice provides the metronomic background around which most Anlo-Ewe music is structured. 5 separate Gankoqui bells have been included. Up to 4 velocities and both open and muted strikes, give a wide variety of timbres.

Our flagship piano instrument is not just any piano. Eighty Eight Ensemble 2 is an exceptional recreation of the Steinway 9-foot CD 327 grand piano. Meticulously sampled and expertly voiced, Eighty Eight Ensemble 2 provides every composer, pianist, and musician the opportunity to infuse their compositions, recordings, and performances with the breathtaking realism of this truly world-class grand piano. The recording philosophy employed in creating Eighty Eight Ensemble 2 was based on using a simple signal chain, the finest A/D converters, and exceptional microphone preamps. The result is some 1500 sample recordings, with 16 dynamic levels captured and preserved for every key.

Even with all this painstaking attention to accuracy, Eighty Eight Ensemble 2 provides plenty of opportunities to customize the sound to match the project - or your taste. The four-band EQ allows the timbre of the sound to be easily refined. An improved limiter offers enhanced dynamic control.
