CREATIVE PROCESSING - use loop and reverse to create lush frozen piano sustains or use the ADSR controls to transform a celeste into an EDM pluck.

SOUND SETS:
The Original - recorded with two rode M5 microphones and a thick blanket between the strings, piano 1 gives an immersive, intimate sound. perfect for cosy, lo-fi chords.
The Mono Piano - a linen tablecloth dampens the strings with a more balanced and ever-so-slightly brighter tone. one WA-47 vintage tube microphone and a much more intricate sample mapping creates a soft dignity.
The Angel - made from samples recovered from internet vaults, the celeste is playful but gentle, wholesome but not lacking depth. an imagiro favourite.

The Rain Piano is a very special sampled upright piano, recorded to sound different right from the beginning. The recording engineer was advised to make it "sound like it had stood out in the rain for a long time”, to give it a sound which is as bluesy as possible. The result is an impressive piano, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of overtones to add character to every note you play.

Augmented Piano delivers a unique collection of 24 piano preparations created and recorded on a beautiful 1909 Pleyel grand piano. Ever wondered what a piano would sound like played with a bow, guitar pick or plucked with your fingers? What if you could layer those sounds together with differing attack and decay times? Now you can.
With Augmented Piano we wanted to go beyond traditional prepared piano sounds and offer something both new and inspiring, providing a way for musicians to easily craft and explore new tones and expressive possibilities with an instrument they already know and love.
