Sonoris Mastering Equalizer v1.2.0.0 / v1.0.4.0 FIXED WiN MacOSX
The Sonoris Mastering Equalizer (SMEQ) is a parametric equalizer in VST, AU, AAX and RTAS format for Windows and Mac. It has selectable linear phase or minimum phase operation per band. The plugin is suitable for mixing and especially mastering and features 7 bands, including lowpass, highpass, peaking and shelving filters.

The SMEQ can be used to enhance or correct difficult material like vocal or instrumental soloists and groups, orchestral recordings and complex mixes, without introducing any unwanted coloring. The linear phase implementation of the SMEQ ensures a transparent character and just boosts or cuts a frequency range without adding a "sound". It doesn’t smear transients or create mud, nor does it alter the imaging and depth information of the original sound. This way it is possible to boost or cut more than with a conventional equalizer without any of these negative side effects.

The linear phase algorithm of the SMEQ is based on a technique called "backward-forward filtering”, until now only implemented in some expensive high end equalizers. The main advantage of this technique is that IIR filters can be used instead of FIR filters, the latter is commonly found in linear phase implementations. IIR filters are known for their more analog kind of filtering and are also more efficient than FIR filters. The filters used in the SMEQ are actually the same as in the Sonoris Equalizer and also have correct gain up to Nyquist.

Every band can be set up to process stereo, L , R or (M)id and (S)ide channels. Processing the mid or side information can be very useful in certain situations. In mastering for example, it allows you to enhance a centered vocal while leaving the other instruments untouched. Or to center a bass without losing the stereo imaging of the rest. Adjustment of is made easy because the SMEQ allows for monitoring the LR or MS channels.

The plugin has a large graphical display that shows exactly what you get. The size of the plugin can be changed to your liking by dragging the lower right-hand corner.

The Sonoris Mastering Equalizer has an automatic as well as 2x, 4x or 8x manual upsampling mode. When upsampling, the SMEQ has an even more accurate response, especially at the higher frequencies.

Our Sonoris releases between 2015 and 2018 have timebomb issue.

Protection changes in 2015 :
* Serial Number check after longer usage
* RSA public key modification check

Once it bombs, it stops processing audio.

We fixed in these new releases. However, if your computer have old license,
it still cause timebomb as a result. Read included text carefully and re-
register all plugins with our latest releases.

We are very sorry we haven't noticed this issue for a long time

The Sonoris Multiband Compressor (=SMBC) is a versatile three band compressor in VST, VST3, AU, AAX and RTAS format for Windows and Mac. It is an ultra clean processor, suitable for delicate material. It has three independent frequency bands, each followed by a compressor based on the Sonoris Mastering Compressor. The three bands are created with carefully designed Linkwitz-Riley crossover filters to avoid phase cancellation problems while having a very natural, analog like quality. By design they mix back flat. Unlike linear phase filters they don’t introduce ringing artifacts and are more efficient in use.

Besides working on a full mix, each filter band can also work on the Left, Right, Mid or Side channels or anything in between, with the variable link. This feature turns the SMBC into a powerful problem solver enabling you to exclusively attack a specific problem in a mix. For example, taming the bass in the Mid channel or a snare hit in the Left channel at 3KHz while keeping the integrity of the mix intact.

Crave EQ was built with one purpose: uncompromising sound quality. To that end, we have created 3 highly accurate EQ models based on an ideal analog equalizer. Each model is aimed at delivering the best possible sound for a specific task.

For pure analog sound, the analog phase mode is a reproduction of clean analog hardware - an essential feature for professional quality mixing. This kind of modelling requires a small amount of latency which we've managed to keep astonishingly low at just 48 samples - 1.1ms at 44kHz or 0.5ms at 96kHz.
