Nyabinghi is one of the most deeply rooted and celebrated Orders of the Rastafari culture. It is the cornerstone of Roots Rasta Reggae as well as other Jamaican styles of music. The Nyabinghi influence is pervasive throughout the DJ and Sound System culture. The Nyabinghi spiritual essence can be felt through their drumming style that is primarily centered around 3 main drums: the Baandu or Bass drum, the Funde, a middle pitched drum, and the Kete also known as the 'Repeater', the smallest and highest pitched drum.
