With every patch in Dark Energy, the mod wheel is used to add intensity, layering and swell. This is quite useful for scoring with the library patches in real time. User CC is used to transform every Soundscape and Pad patch into a tempo-synched rhythmic patch. For the BPM and Impact patches, User CC dials in additional FX.
