The break. A fundamental piece to electronic inspired music since the 70s. The sound of the break was originally lifted from funk and soul records and served as the backbone to crafting and performing urban minded tunes. It’s all about the groove, the cleverly discovered sample, and the drum swings.
We love the break here at Irrupt, and wanted to give it some mad love in the form of ‘Beats For Da’ Street’, a unique product full of drum loops, one shots, percussive FX and steady head nodding grooves for discerning producers worldwide. Upon hearing this demo, you'll notice the drums have a proper 'live' swing to them. The reason? We used a real human being.
