Behind all the Jet Set Radio snippets, the Panty & Stocking clips, and general Twitter shenanigans, there is but one 19-year-old DJ ready to take over the world of dance as we know it today. This… is dazegxd - a multitalented artist on a multidisciplinary label, deadAir Records. Are you someone who enjoys the jungle and DnB stylistics of early 2000s racing games? Daze has that for you. What about the sweet sounds of 90s house mixed with a little techno for good measure? Daze has that too, and a lot of it. Take any style of dance - past or present - and Daze certainly has at least one instance of said style at its best in their discography.

Their new sample collection, ‘Dazecore’, is a ground-up rework of this nostalgia trip’s fundamental building blocks. Freshly synthesized in Serum and other modern software, Daze has created an alternate timeline for classic UK garage, DnB, and other dance sounds.

Discussing the pack creation process, Daze tells us "aigh so boom i made this epic dazecore kit from my bare hands. all the synths and drums n breaks in the kit is straight from me 2 u, royalty-free. go crazy with it #yeayea <3"

All of the aforementioned styles converge on their upcoming debut solo album vKiSS - set to be released on deadAir on May 20th. For a sneak peak of this magnificent dance odyssey, give Dazecore a run and see for yourself.
