This sample pack contains 100 kick drums with varying flavors. This includes long and short decays, hard and soft hits as well as FM synthesis. All samples are 24 bit / 44.1kHz .wav files and labeled by texture and/or style for ease of use. The samples were created using drum modules from a modular synthesizer, Elektron RYTM and Tempest drum machine. The samples were processed with analog compression, EQ and recorded through an RME ADI-2 A/D Converter into Pro Tools. Load into any DAW or sampler and begin using. There's no additional processing necessary. While created with techno in mind, these kick drums can be used across multiple music genres.

More 808 Kicks contains 170 808 Kick Drums. All samples are Mono, 24bit 44.1kHz. The samples were created using a Tip Top Audio 808 Kick module with an occasional Intellijel Dr. Octature II filter module. The modules were processed through a Focusrite 2802 console, Manley Vari Mu compressor and Black Lion Sparrow A/D converter. Only light, corrective EQ was used post tracking. Concept Techno Volume One is the first of a series of sample packs by Grid Based Beats with the objective of full-scale construction kits designed for making hard techno. All samples clock at 135BPM and correspond to the same musical key, making it easy to drop these samples into any DAW or hardware sampler and achieve a smooth workflow. The sample pack includes drum loops, one shots, bass and synth lines as well as ambient drones. The samples were created using various hardware including a modular synthesizer system and analog drum machines. The synth samples include wet and dry versions. Some samples also have multiple measure lengths (2, 8, 16, etc.) to allow for filter sweeps and modulation to evolve. The drum loops include full and broken down versions (kick removed) as well as corresponding one-shot samples.

Rolling Percussion features 24 individual one shot drum samples and 24 drum loops created from an E-MU Audity 2000 synthesizer. The samples were heavily processed through the internal filters in order to create unique textures. The drum loops are clocked at 135BPM and were designed for creating deep, percussive techno. The synthesizer was recorded using an analog processing chain with light EQ and a high end A/D converter. Includes 48 samples, recorded at 24bit and 44.1kHz. This sample pack contains 88 one shot drum samples designed to make those sweaty, late night warehouse tracks. The samples were recorded primarily from a Roland TR-909 and processed through various hardware compressors, filters and EQ. Each sample has been surgically engineered and no additional processing is needed. Just drop in any DAW or sampler and start making beats.
