Welcome to our Luftballon wind, percussion and sfx library! Luftballon is a collection of classic latex rubber balloon inflation, pops, hisses, wheezes, twists, squeals, pulls, deflation flubbers, farts, screeches, scrapes, thuds, thumps, taps, snaps and other percussion, sustaining and tonal elements. Equal parts "wind", sound effect and percussion library, this library is filled to bursting with creative potential. This collection was created with the help of somewhere around 100 hundred party balloons, blown up with helium into all sorts of different shapes and sizes. We recorded each one with large diaphragm mics placed at close proximity in a wide X-Y stereo field to capture an especially aggressive and dynamic sound.

Our Kazoo library was created with our world-class kazoo ensemble, featuring some of the finest hand-crafted wax paper and plastic wind instruments that money can buy. The noble Kazoo is recognized as perhaps the very pinnacle of human musical instrument engineering, with a sound just as renowned for its subtlety as it is for its noble majesty. We gathered together four of the finest kazoo virtuosos in the world to capture this power ensemble collection. This brilliant sample set was recorded in our private studios, using a wide stereo pair of large diaphragm Neumann microphones to achieve brilliant tone and fidelity.

UFO Tone is a multi-sampled metallic tuned percussion library that encapsulates a special hang drum from another realm. At Soundiron, we love anything rare, weird, or mysterious. This one checks all three boxes. We may have found this artifact halfway buried in a field, like it was dropped off from an extraterrestrial visit… After cleaning it off, we took it to St. Paul's Church in San Francisco - the same location we sampled Requiem Light Choir, Symphony Series Brass, and Alpha Organ

Cacophony is easily the most massive collection of live concert hall performance sound effects, room tones, crowd reactions, orchestral tuning drones and incidental sound effects you will find anywhere. As we accelerate toward technical perfection and hyperrealism in the musical world with the help of technology, it's important to remember the living flaws and details that make the experience of listening to live music so immersive. What is often most missing is the ghost of the place, the murmur and roar of the audience, the players tuning up - all of those little sounds in between. In their absence, we often feel something missing, though we cannot always put our finger on what.
