WOV is an effect for making a wide range of textures out of your sounds – from familiar tremolo waves to glitchy stutters and everything in between. One of the first two plugins in K-Devices’ Phoenix effects series, WOV takes shows just how far traditional effects can be pushed.
HOW IT WORKS
WOV consists of three main sections: Rate Section, Waveform Section, Depth Section.
The Rate Section
This section determines the rate or speed at which WOV operates. Rate can either be assigned in Hz, or in fractions of a beat in sync with a hosting application – to switch between Hz and sync modes, use the switches at the bottom center of WOV.
It’s easy to set up a static rate for WOV and leave things at that – but WOV has much more to offer! To the right of the Rate control, the bipolar Response knob sets the sensitivity with which WOV’s rate will either slow down or speed up depending on the volume of the incoming signal. The bipolar Variation control further introduces randomized amounts of variation to the rate – at its extremes going as far half the rate (knob to the far left) or twice the rate (knob to the far right).
Lastly, the eight-step Sequencer uses a multislider to set the relative accent value for each beat of the rate. The slider adjusts between two and eight steps in length, and the R+1 button offsets the accents going to the right channel one step over from the left (note that this requires Stereo to be enabled).

As the original Virus TI/TI2 slowly gets older (meanwhile losing compatbility for its software under macOS since 2019, and the manufacturer seems to be shipping its last remaining units), and the computers growing more powerful, people are nontheless still trying to recreate some of the original sounds of the unit, especially the Graintable mode and Formant modes, that actually have nothing to do with granular synthesis of formant filters.
From bubbles to sync-style aggressive leads, this mode has been at the heart of psytrance sounds for many years, influencing the tracks up to now.
GrainTable recreates as much as possible the sound achieved by the Virus TI2 graintable mode, sought by many.

Clara’s vocal library is created to fit the needs of the modern composer and sound designer, the first version of Clara’s Library with a true authentic legato. In v 2.0 there are two Legato Mode "Ah " & "Oh " switchable by keyswitch , which will make it easy to change articulations including legato sound in real time.The keysitches includes staccato "Ah " & "Oh. Release samples can be enabled/disabled with the ability to control their time and volume. Speed knob is provided to control sample offset - start of legato transition samples enabling user to control speed of legato. Vibrato is controlled with modulation wheel with the ability to control it's rate with a knob. Legato function can be turned on/off in case of playing chords for example. A unique function of having double Clara performance is provided through a button called double where user can get double Clara performance with different samples, round robins, and mic positions. Attack time can be controlled for all samples in the legato patch as well as the phrases patch.
