Pacific – Ensemble Strings is a symphonic string library featuring 16 violins, 12 violas, 10 cellos, 8 basses, a solo harp, and a 3-violin FFF overlay. It is one part of the full PACIFIC orchestra (ensemble strings, solo strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion). The library – featuring up to 14 dynamics – offers an ambient, classical-leaning sound in standard orchestral seating position, and was recorded in the same room as Fluid Shorts 2, as well as the Con Moto series, Caspian, and the original Fluid Shorts.

With Kinetic, you get the entire string section in one instrument (Violins, Violas, Cellos and Basses). You get a separate timeline for each section. Each timeline contains 64 note or rest events and can be divided into up to 4 "regions". And you can have each timeline play a different pattern, section or articulation when you hold down a single note or chord!
Choose from 30 fun-to-play presets in Kinetic Strings Original, or 40 new and different patterns in Kinetic Strings Plus. And if you really want to get wild, you can choose any of the presets for each section separately. That means you could have the violins playing the one preset, the violas play another, the cellos play yet another, and the basses play event another... ALL AT THE SAME TIME! And of course, any or all of these patterns can be edited.

Behold an industry first: real legato transitions for chords. For Colours: Orchestrator, ProjectSAM recorded major and minor chords with all possible transitions between them. For example, C major and F minor were recorded separately, as well as C major changing into F minor and vice versa. The result is extremely realistic, musical and evocative.
