Moment Resonance Botanica a phritz moment WAV
Japanese indie electronic producer phritz finds comfort in the soft sounds. Known for his fusion of organic, nature-inspired sounds with a driving electronic pulse, phritz is part of a sonic movement which he has coined ‘Botanica’: "grass type music that makes you feel warm”. Phritz is a member of the online music community FORM and the Japanese pop project PAS TASTA. He has released with bitbird and Maltine Records, has collaborated with Aiobahn, Tomggg and Dabin, and was featured on Porter Robinson’s ‘cherished music’ playlist.

‘Resonance Botanica’ is a perfectly assembled ensemble of elegantly arranged strings and acoustic instruments with soothing synth textures, heartfelt song fragments, and shuffling percussion. Each sample is handcrafted and imbued with phritz’s unique musical footprint, a trailhead revealing multiple paths to explore yourself.

"Inspired by the vivid hues of nature,” phritz tells us, gesturing toward the flowery meadow ahead, "this pack is intended to be a warm welcome to the sonic landscape of Botanica.”

oakscreen is a 23 year old experimental electronic songwriter that has worked with 8485, lieu, and blackwinterwells as both a producer and a vocalist. Equally drawing inspiration from algorithmic art and forest moss, his music combines aspects of folk, noise, and pop into a resulting sonic landscape that feels like broken light beams coming in through a dusty window.

During a brief meeting in the void, we asked the wanderer about his new ‘Comfort Collage’ sample pack. "I started with a lot of the sounds that I frequently use in my songs, broke them into pieces and then put them back together.” Muffled through layers of woolen shawl, he continues, "I’ve always been obsessed with things that feel warm, pretty, and flawed and that’s exactly what I’ve tried to capture within this pack.”

Chicago-based producer, artist, and "World’s Smartest Dumbass” (2021) Andrew Goes to Hell draws inspiration from video game soundtracks and bootleg DJ mixtapes to create his signature sonic palette—known for everything from emo songwriting to hardstyle drops and as the voice of the scene’s hottest DJ tags. A long-time member of 909 Worldwide, Andrew has collaborated with the collective’s greats Laura Les and Alice Gas, as well as artists such as Caspr and LAN Party.

Hell’s deepest musical goal is to create imaginary worlds that feel lived, but evoke a sense of nostalgia for something otherwise never-before experienced. "I think there is a word for that lol,” he tells us from a truck stop somewhere between Twin Cities and Zagreb.

Splice Sounds Madame Gandhi x Sound MANA 100% Organically Sourced Material From Nature Field Recordings WAV Synth Presets Splice Sounds Madame Gandhi x Sound MANA 100% Organically Sourced Material From Nature Field Recordings WAV Synth Presets
The 100% Organically Sourced sample pack was the brainchild of artist & activist Madame Gandhi and the Woodstock, NY-based music collective and retreat, Sound MANA. Working in collaboration, they sought to create a collection of sounds that'd help creators connect to nature. They captured unique, high-quality field recordings of plants and animals in nature to observe how they'd be used as electronic sounds.

Madame Gandhi shared, "So often as a producer, I find myself loving what is available to me online, and yet I do not know where the sound came from. I want my audience to be inspired by what nature can offer. With this pack, I intended to contribute to a movement that thinks critically about not only the source of the instrumentation but also the content in our lyrics. As an artist and producer, I see an enormous opportunity in being able to provide music and sounds that elevate the collective consciousness. By making this pack, we hope that the Splice community finds joy in reconnecting with nature.".
