Inside you'll find the titular tape 'Beat' loops and their corresponding 'Tops' and 'Perc', all as twisted and noisy as you would expect from us. The 'Arp', 'Keys', and 'Lead' loops are all brash, de-tuned and infinitely inspiring; tape wobble and pitch just keep them in tune (and at times push them completely out) and noise and distortion insist they don't get lost in your mix. The same goes for the 'Synths' folder; jazzy & vibrant progressions that are ready for re-sampling or laying right out the pack. The 'Bass' folder completes the collection; thick saturated subs meet out of the box and off the grid live playing. This on is truly a one of a kind.

Komorebi Audio Presents - Tape Beats, a selection of crate digging inspired gritty drum breaks, one shots and detuned melodic loops.

The drums in this pack were recorded on site in Jardin Aereo studios in Mexico State through UAD preamps and heavily processed with tape effects, resampling and creative saturation. Two stereo overhead mics were used for width and ambience, individual close mics used for each drum and a vintage RCA microphone was placed central to add gritty character and vintage tone.

Detuned and lush Rhodes chord progressions are included to inspire and accompany the drum sounds.
