PastToFutureReverbs Cinematic Classical Guitar KONTAKT
PastToFutureReverbs Cinematic Classical Guitar KONTAKT
We tried to get that wonderful nylon string sound that you hear in the movies at the background in a beautiful sounding space playing some haunting melodies on the higher strings of the guitar.

We used our vintage Conde Hermanos nylon string guitar for sampling and our Lexicon 200 reverb to give it that magical space-feeling.

We made 4 different instruments out of it;

1- Cinematic Classical Guitar (With a tasty Lexicon reverb, this is the guitar you hear in the demos)

2- Cinematic Classical Guitar Tape (With tape and more hiss)

3- Cinematic Classical Guitar DRY (No Reverb)

4- Cinematic Classical Guitar Ethereal (With lexicon 224 added on the top)

Here are the main features:

- For Kontakt 5.5.2 (48khz/24bit)

- easy to use interface

- „RoundRobin-behavior" and „physical modeling velocity technique" for more playing realism

- mix-ready sound

Amazing sounding German Romantic guitar from 1880 made by Carl Ruckmich

We got this one with steel strings on it and sampled it with them

It has an amazing mid-range that sings and jumps out the instrument.

It sounds like an ancient Martin guitar

First time watching KILL BILL and hearing Billy Strange playing those Guitar arpeggios with a tremolo FX and hearing Nancy Sinatra singing over it was a magical moment.

We had to get that sound and transport it to KONTAKT!

So we did our research and we found an interview with Billy Strange explaining how they got the sound on BANG BANG my baby shot me down:

All notes have been sampled using GIBSON ES-335, Fender TWIN and a very old Schaller Tremolo Pedal to TAPE just like the original
