128 Custom Synth Presets for your Sequential Prophet Rev2 Synthesizer!!! This has been a really long time in the making, and we hope you find the sounds more than inspiring. Working with the Rev2 has been extremely fun, and we hope that comes through in these synthesizer patches. These patches are delivered as sysex files. You get both the bank file, containing all 128 patches, as well as the individual sysex files for each patch. Also included are 7 "Alternate" patches that got sidelined for one reason or another as well as the 15 free patches that are always available here. That's 150 presets all together!

Originally I had no intentions of assembling a collection of custom patches but as I find myself continually pulled into creating patches with this synth it seemed like a logical step. "Obscure Luminescence” Vol. 1 is the result of countless hours spent immersing myself into sound creation with the OB-6. With these sounds I wasn't necessarily aiming for a well-rounded variety of patches but rather was leaning into what I absolutely love about the OB-6; it's natural ability to create wondrously gorgeous polyphonic pads, strings, and keys. You'll find that these types sounds get a little more attention with this collection, which is comprised of the following 100 patches: 00-39 pads & strings, 40-69 keys, 70-79 plucks, 80-89 bass, and 90-99 leads. I've also written unique sequences for each, as a convenient way to audition and find some inspiration should you need. Just a note these patches were written with "Vintage” mode activated. I hope you get lost in these sounds as much as I often do. Just a heads up: This bank is designed to occupy slots 100-199 on the OB-6 and in transferring to your instrument will write over the existing bank. Please use sysex or similar for transfer and feel free to get in touch if any issues. Enjoy!

You will receive all the sounds from my Youtube & Soundcloud demos plus extra sounds (220 original presets + their variations = 228 presets in total). Of course all the drums & sequences are also stored as patch data, so you will have those too, and you can adjust them or bypass the sequencer and play the sounds by hand.

What format / import method?:

My patches come under the name "WCOG” in 2 soundbanks (A and B) saved as sysex files exported directly from my PRO-3. You can put any of my bank into any of your User Banks (U1, U2, U3, U4) on your PRO-3. In other words, you have full freedom as to the memory locations / import destinations.
