The Novation PEAK is a great Synthesizer and I've come to really love the tone and character of it. In late 2018 we saw an update that greatly enhanced the features of the Synth with more Wavetables and Modulation routing etc.
I decided to make a follow up Bank for the Novation PEAK, though this time, concentrate on the "Digital" side a little more, to play with Texture and Tone. This is why, all 128 Patches now feature at least 1 of the New Wavetables.
All Patches have extensive Modulation routing, all have Animate Buttons, Mod Wheel assignments and Aftertouch where relevant.
You know I like Pads, especially Motion! So you won't be disappointed with the quality as many have blown me away with the tone and movement...All thanks to the Wavetables.

Each of Extinction's 86 patches has been designed completely from scratch. As a result, you can choose between 44 pads and textures, 12 leads, 12 basses, 11 arpeggiator sounds next to a selection of drum and SFX sounds. As always, we dug deep into the synth engine and made heavy use of Peak's outstanding oscillators and modulation matrix, including features like envelope repeat and FM.

In 2020, Novation added a fantastic feature to Peak's already impressive sound engine. With the release of firmware version 1.3 you were now able to create and transfer your own wavetables. As sound designers we obviously had to include that feature into this preset collection. Thus adding to the 86 patches, this sound pack also features eight user wavetables that were created exclusively for this patch bank.

Profundo is a set of sounds for the Novation Peak focusing on complex and evolving modulations. You will not find any basses or percussion in this bank. What you will find are:

Spectral Trip is a sound set for the hardware synth Novation Peak (V 1.2 or later). The presets are showing the tonal flexibility of this synthesizer musically. There are striking digital sounds and innovative analog sound colours. All 64 sounds are carefully designed and take advantage of the complete synthesis engine with an extensive use of the wavetables of the Novation Peak.
This set is also a good starting point for creating your own powerful pads and hybrid sounds.
