What's Updated?
All three Live Gold TonePack banks have been updated to
Cygnus firmware for both the FM3 and Axe-Fx III.
How can I tell updated presets from older firmware versions?
All Cygnus- updated presets names end with a "-c”, short for Cygnus firmware version.
The Axe-Fx III LiveGold presets (which include Output3 and Output 4) will also
say "AX3” in their names, but the Cygnus FM3 LiveGold presets will just show
the preset name and the added "-c.”
Which Fractal firmware version should I use?
Just match the Fractal firmware version with the right LiveGold TonePack firmware version - it's your choice, since both ARES and Cygnus TonePack firmware versions are included in
your account. Just don't try to use firmware 15 (Axe-Fx III) or firmware 3.x
(FM3) on the new Cygnus firmware, because it won't sound right.
Some people report preferring the previous version of LiveGold presets running
of ARES firmware 15.x (or FM3 3.x) as "edgier, more mids, less compressed
feeling” than the updated Cygnus firmware 16.x” - while others disagree. I
still use an Axe-Fx III running firmware 15.x for my band, and it sounds great!

128 Full Bank of Custom Presets each with careful use of the Animate Buttons the sound design has been done in a meaningful way to mazimise the Animate options. These range from careful addtional FX to Moprhing into a another sound.. example a Keys preset pressing one of the Animate buttons will give you a pad etc etc..

Miles Away 50 Custom Patches Synth Presets

These 50 custom patches will load to 450-499 on your Dave Smith / Sequential OB-6. These patches range in all genres from Synthwave, EDM, Film Score, Ambient and more. Every patch has a custom sequence programmed by me as well, so click "play” on the sequencer to get an idea of what the patch would sound like in context of a song.
Note: While these patches make use of many of the OB-6's excellent effects, none of the patches have reverb. In demo, I am adding reverb from the Strymon Big Sky, so I strongly encourage you to add your favourite reverb to these patches! Also your OB-6 must be updated to the latest firmware to use these patches as they make use of the vintage knob update!

20 carefully designed presets for Dreadbox Typhon that took me almost 1 month to complete. 12 of the presets have a custom sequencer made by me. Dont be afraid of using the filter cutoff knob to unlock secrets for some presets. I did have the latest firmware V3.1.1 by the time I designed the presets.
