Haterade's back with us once again, and in these set of Tech Tips he's checking out how to make an awesome Lofi track using nothing but sounds recorded on his phone!

From super smooth kicks, snares, hats and shakers to ethereal pads, plucks and top lines - Noah uses Ableton's samplers, wavetables and granular devices to design all the sounds he needs to make an entire track from scratch.

This is such a cool way to make a unique track using sounds no one else has, and what's more, once crafted, you can save your sounds and use them again and again.

This week we welcome back Noah Lloyd aka Haterade for a new 'How to Make' course where he creates an awesome Slap House from scratch in Ableton.

This is a super accessible course for all abilities with a simple but effective chord progression that's the foundation of the entire track that we build from.

Noah works chronologically through the track, starting with the chilled intro before adding risers, fills and drum rolls to build up to the slamming drop section. After arranging out, we use the Sonic Academy vocal pack to create our own song before mixing and carrying out a basic master so it can be played out.

This week we welcome back Haterade with his first full 'How To Make' course, where he builds an awesome dark and menacing Hybrid Trap tune from scratch.

Working through the track from intro to outro we build huge impactful drums, layered synth lines in ANA 2, beefed up basslines and create a build-up like no other before moving on to the all-important drop. We add variation as the track evolves and pick up the pace adding a psy trance element for the second drop before mixing and mastering.

Back with us once again with an all-new 'How To Make' course is the awesome Nate Raubenheimer aka Protoculture and Shadow Chronicles and this time he's tackling How To Sound Like Tinlicker!

Using Tinlicker's epic remix of Robert Miles 'Children' as a reference, Nate builds this track from scratch honing in on how they get their sound from the Kick, drums, bass, arps and more before fine-tuning the elements in the mixdown and carrying out a master so it's ready to be played out.
