Infuse Your Blues Guitar Soloing With Feel and Fire
Blowing out of Kansas City like a crossfire hurricane, award-winning artist Samantha Fish has been tearing up live stages with her rough ’n raucous blues since she was a teen. In just the last three years, Samantha has been recognized with over 30 awards including Artist Of The Year, Best Guitarist, Best Blues Performer, Best Blues Album, Best Independent Blues-Soul Artist, and Best Contemporary Blues Album.

We’re thrilled to welcome this triple threat guitarist/singer/songwriter to the TrueFire family with her first TrueFire course, Wild Soul, which Samantha designed to help you bring raw expression into every song and solo you play.

"I love playing guitar. I love going out and playing live. And I love songwriting and telling stories with lyrics, vocals, and my instrument. When a sound compels you, you want to put the work in to get better. I want to share the creative approaches - and the shortcuts - that have helped me so other players can express what’s in their own wild soul.”

Wild Soul draws on the core techniques Samantha learned from the bluesmen of Mississippi hill country, like Fred McDowell and R.L. Burnside, plus other legends who communicated with soul and grit.

As you play your way through Wild Soul, Samantha will show how to create deep, gutsy riffs by adding bass notes to melodies, navigate the fretboard using CAGED, play brassy slide licks, break writer’s block with open tunings, sing and play simultaneously, write better riffs, combine slide with fretted notes, mimic pedal steel guitar, and many more techniques and approaches that will help take your playing and writing to the next level.

You’ll have all of TrueFire’s advanced learning tools at your fingertips to personalize your workspace and learn at your own pace.

You can loop, slow down, or speed up any section of a lesson. Plus, all the tab and notation is synced to the videos for the optimal learning experience. You’ll also get tab and standard notation files to print out, Guitar Pro files, and all the backing tracks to practice with.

Grab your guitar, and let’s unleash our Wild Soul with Samantha Fish.
