Join virtual instrument expert Eli Krantzberg for an in-depth look at EZkeys 2 from Toontrack, a powerful tool for easily adding professional-sounding keyboard tracks to your productions and much more. In this EZkeys 2 video course you'll learn how to choose and customize your keyboard sounds, search for the perfect MIDI groove, build up full arrangements in the Song Track, adjust timing and note data in the premade patterns, record or import your own patterns, and much more! Eli begins by giving you a tour around the new EZkeys 2 interface, quickly showing the features of the Library, and covering the basic ways you can shape the sound of a selected instrument. Then, it's on to the Grooves tab, where you'll see how to browse and audition MIDI files - including importing your own - and drag them into the Song track to build up your arrangement. You'll also see how to quickly search for more specific MIDI grooves with various methods, including the handy Tap2find feature, and sort the results easily.
Next up, begin to explore the Song track, which is where you're able to create complete song arrangements one piece at a time. Discover the various aspects, including Song Part, Chord Track, and MIDI Track, and see how the "Suggest Chords" feature can help you work through a case of writer's block or simply help to send your song into a new direction.
