Semi-modular Synthesizer MS-20

Released in 1978, the analog synthesizer MS-20 is undoubtedly one of the most famous and respected synthesizers of all time. This massive bestseller by KORG, with its fat and sticky sound, powerful self-oscillating filter, and freely adjustable patch section, is still popular with professionals and amateurs today.

While the MS-20 V2 in this KORG Collection has been based on the software-emulated MS-20 from 2004, it has been refined for modern production environments. In addition to the often-requested high-resolution and scalable interface, we have added two new multi-effects. All of the analog sounds and behaviors are realistically reproduced by CMT, KORG's proprietary electronic Circuit Modeling Technology, and this latest software gives you the powerful sound that only the MS-20 can deliver.

Reborn through software Wave Sequence Synthesizer WAVESTATION.

Released in 1990, the WAVESTATION is a synthesizer with an advanced vector synthesis system that could create new sounds by combining and connecting multiple waveforms. Using unique features such as using a joystick to mix and morph four oscillators, a wave sequence function that could arrange waveforms in sequences to form rhythm or melody sequences patterns, it continues to be a legendary and irreplaceable instrument to this day,

Reborn through software Music Workstation M1.

The M1, released in 1988, is an epoch-making synthesizer that defined the music scene of the late 80's and the 90s. Its synthesis system with digital multi-effects, based on high-quality PCM, featured a unique sound which was epoch-defining. In addition, as the original music workstation "all-in-one unit”, it came with an 8-track sequencer, drastically changing the composing and production style of musicians everywhere.

Along with its innovative "workstation" concept, the M1's "AI" (Advanced Integrated) synthesis system used PCM waveforms and digital effects to deliver fully complete program and combination sounds. As a pioneer of PCM tone generation, it was notable not just for the reality of its sound, but also for the distinctive resonance and tonal character that demonstrated the high level of Korg's voicing technology. Numerous sounds available only from the M1, most notable the famous "M1 Piano” sound, were taken up by musicians and producers around the world, and are still in use today.
