Melodic Transmutations
Harmonia is the latest wildly innovative virtual instrument from Cherry Audio, designed to easily create rich, evolving polyphonic tones through its intuitive visual interface.

The magic behind Harmonia lies in its two sample-based oscillators. Using techniques similar to those found in additive synthesis, each Harmonia oscillator can simultaneously produce up to eight pitches, individually tuned to a harmonic series or semitones.

The Lem Echo Music recreates the nostalgic tones of the vintage Italian tape delay effect from Lem. This authentic emulation simulates the classic sound of three playheads on one strip of tape, with all the characteristic wow, flutter, and degradation of the original.

Scanner Vibrato is a virtual effect plug-in that aims to recreate the scanner-vibrato effect from a well-known tonewheel organ.

The original scanner-vibrato was developed in the 1940s, and was an analog, electromechanical device, consisting of an analog delay line and a mechanical rotor ("scanner"). The rotor was driven by the organ's internal motor, and therefore its rate was fixed at about 6.9 Hz.

The original scanner-vibrato could produce both chorus and vibrato effects, and it offered three depth presets. Read more about the history of the Scanner Vibrato.

With four analog oscillators across two synth layers, unique modulation features, extended performance options, and an eight-module effects section, this plugin AX73 (VST/AU) unleashes the full power of the original hardware and more – no menu diving required, and all perfectly modeled through our Advanced Circuitry Emulation technology. The AX Chorus is based on the ACE modeled MN3009 Bucket Brigade (BBD) chip found in both the AX73 and AX60 synthesizers. We developed our plugin with the chorus 100% the same as the mono input versions found in the original synthesizers and then added the option of making it a stereo effect.

As Akai never released the chorus as a separate effect we envisioned how it could have looked in the 1980s, and have included both the AX73 and AX60 chorus effects in one unit.

The Martinic Colorsound Tremolo AU/VST plugin, tested and authorized by Macaris, recreates the famous Colorsound Tremolo effect pedal used by Green Day, Joe Bonamassa, and Phil Manzanera among other well known guitar players.
