Originally part of the first Korg Legacy Collection and later the Korg Legacy Collection: Analog Edition 2007; the MS-20 is now available individually. As the original manufacturer, Korg is uniquely qualified to recreate our vintage analog synthesizers as software instruments. Korg’s proprietary Component Modeling Technology (CMT) recreates the original circuit path and analog signal flow, to provide results that are completely faithful to the original hardware. The MS-20 is designed to run as a stand-alone program; or as a VST, AU or RTAS Plug-in, making it compatible with nearly any DAW software studio package.
The MS-20 software synthesizer provides a complete simulation of its legendary original. In addition, it gives you modern advantages such as up to 32 voices of polyphony and up to 16-voice unison (with detune/spread function). Flexible external modulation settings and MIDI clock synchronization have also been added, giving you even greater creative potential.

In 2004, KORG released the KORG Legacy Collection, a groundbreaking endeavor to authentically recreate the company’s most famous synthesizers in software. The KORG collection was renewed in 2017 with the addition of the ARP Odyssey. 2019 brought KORG Collection 2, with a faithful recreation of the TRITON, as well as newly refined GUIs for all prior plugins.
