LPCV FREE is a light CV device that only does one thing: it goes from one value to another. The catch is that it can take a really long time to get there. Like super long. The time range goes from one bar to one-hundred bars.
The other catch is that it will still take that long, even if you are working in a loop mode.
This way you can breath movement, build-ups and long falls into the short loops you are working with. Then, when you are ready to go back to song mode, those same variations will still be there.
Also, there is a Reset button that will restart the CV. In loop mode, it activates when the loop starts again. Otherwise it restarts instantly.
So I know that many are finding it tough out there at the moment. I just wanted to say, enjoy this freebie and hang in there. Try and notice and appreciate more of the little things around you and, as we have been saying here in NZ a lot lately, be kind to each other.

The double dutch is a new blending mode for audio waves. If you have used the DoubleDutch CV wrangler, also from 17 frames, then you might be a little familiar with how it works.
It takes three wave inputs. The first two, A and B, do their thing, and the third is then squeezed between them.
When this process is applied to audio then you get some strange and wonderfull effects.

So earlier this year I released the LPCVFREE, a free RE that did some things with CVs that was, well, slow. Really slow. It measured time in bars, from 1 to 100, even if you are working in the transport loop mode.
This device opens up possibilities for new and elaborate interrelated automation structures.
This is something of paid version for those who want a few extra features.

Sometimes less is more. In DoubleDutch this is proven by the ALT section of the instrument.
The alt gives the C-CV a rest when the A-CV is below the B-CV. And when you are in ‘rest mode’ there are three choices about what to do in the meantime:
Stay with A
Stay with B
Midpoint between them
