AudioElec is an electrified sound synthesizer. It generates sounds like hum, impulse, sparks and telemetry.

AudioElec is a synthesizer dedicated to the emulation of electrical sounds. The synthesizer is based on Le Sound's dynamic modeling technology and uses sampling only for very specific modules. That is, it produces sounds by solving, on the fly, mathematical equations modeling the different components of electrified sound approximations developed by AudioGaming. This complex synthesis engine responds dynamically to the control signals it receives and exposes high-level controls carefully mapped to the low-level synthesis model.

Even- order harmonics produce smooth, musical characteristics as opposed to odd- order harmonics, which tend to sound harsh. FD1/2/3N ' tend to introduce some degree of even-order harmonic distortion that produces a "warming” effect by thickening the overtones of the original signal.

RA is a Nonlinear plug-in for the professional Audio Engineers that demand the most from their plug-ins. The plug-in can be thought of as an amplifier that is being over driven, (Wave Form Compression), but there is control over what part is being overdriven. An analogy from photography, it is like the curve function.

The controls in RA are divided into 4 groups.

The first and most useful control is the LOW LEVEL control; it is in the middle of the graphic. This control brings up the low level content of the audio. It may also be thought of as a detail control. It functions like an amplifier being over driven, but works more on the low level part of the signal and less on the high level part. This control generates third harmonic distortion. The LOW LEVEL control can also have a multiplying effect on other plug-ins by increasing their effect.

The Vintage/Modern options vary the attack and release characteristics of the processor and will vary the ‘colour’ of the output. Switch between them to hear the difference and select what works for you. This switch has more to do with ‘colour’ or ‘feel’ of the sound.

AR-1 is a variable-mu tube compressor whose roots are in the raucous sound of the rockin’ American 50’s, yet it enjoys a posh, tea-sipping British image thanks to its use at Abbey Road Studios in late 60’s, notably on the later Beatles and earlier Pink Floyd records. Kush painstakingly captured the sweet breakup of AR-1’s beefy tubes being driven into the dirt, then added more than a half dozen significant UI and functional enhancements. The resulting emulation is every bit as chunky as the original, and 10x more flexible
