Bouzouki is a stringed instrument, which belongs to the family of the long-necked lutes with a round wooden body with a flat top and a neck with a fretted fingerboard.

It has steel strings and is played with a plectrum producing a sharp metallic sound, reminiscent of a mandolin but pitched lower. This instrument traditionally using for dancing and entertainment at social gatherings also playing in a variety of musical genres throughout the World, including Jazz, Bluegrass, Rock and Folk music.

The original Kazakh dombra has frets and is played by strumming with the hand or plucking each string individually, with an occasional tap on the main surface of the instrument. It is very important in the culture of Kazakh and The National Dombra Day is celebrated in Kazakhstan every first Sunday of July.

The cumbush is a Turkish stringed instrument of relatively modern origin. It was developed in 1930 by Zeynel Abidin Cumbush (1881-1947) as a fretless oud-like instrument that could be heard as part of a larger ensemble. It is shaped like an American banjo, with a spun-aluminium resonator bowl and skin soundboard. Although originally configured as an oud, the instrument has been converted to other instruments by attaching a different set of neck and strings.

"Cura” is a stringed Turkish folk instrument and most commonly played in Anatolia. The smallest member of the baglama family with the highest pitched sound. It has only three strings, small body and short finger board. Cura has a traditional playing technique with fingernails so don't need to use plectrum while performing.
