Performed by top session drummers using Ludwig and Gretsch drum kits, vintage Zildjian cymbals and snares by Ludwig, Rogers and Slingerland, Vintage Disco has been expertly produced to provide producers, writers and re-mixers with supreme quality disco beats.

Produced and mixed by drum recording maestro Mike Pelanconi, this acclaimed album has kept strictly to the Drumdrops ethos of using only the very best vintage analogue equipment. Each track has been recorded on a 1970s Neve console, using analogue tape, vintage microphones and outboard gear such as Pultec Equalizers and Fairchild Compressors.

From Foals, Arctic Monkeys and Royal Blood all the way back to Iggy Pop and Led Zeppelin, Drumdrops’ Indie and Rock packs in over 200 loops of incredible indie and rock drums from across the years. Recorded at one of the world’s most revered studios for indie & rock, The Pool in London, we’ve taken every care to deliver our punchiest analogue drum loops to date. Legendary session drummer George Cook was at the sticks, with engineer and producer Billy Halliday manning the vintage Neve console in The Pool.

The Modern Funk Kit is a hybrid of Ben Hillier's Slingerland and Premier kits and CJ Evan's Tama kit, recorded meticulously by Billy Halliday in Miloco's The Pool, a truly incredible drum recording studio. The kit comprises the Premier kick, Slingerland and premier toms, Tama SLP Aluminium Snare, Tama SLP Duo Snare, Tama 12" Snare, Radioking snare, Ludwig Supraphonic 400 snare and Sabian cymbals and hats.
