The internet's friendliest sound whiz, singer, educator, and all-around good guy, Chuck Sutton is universally loved. You've probably seen one of his viral production hacks such as a stock Ableton OP-1 emulation or beatbox-to-MIDI rack, or his partnered educational content with the likes of Ableton, iZotope and Antares. A tried and true groove machine and your favorite producer's favorite producer, Chuck has worked with Moore Kismet, Pusher, COOKIE., toured with DROELOE, and premiered a song on HBO's series Insecure.

Since his first Splice pack in 2019, his funky and playfully robotic sound has blossomed into maturity. Hand in hand with his cultivation of shared knowledge in the scene, Chuck is always reaching higher heights in his own sonics, and further deepening his musical roots - 'Link Tree' is his next gift to the community garden. Deep pocket grooves, signature wonky vocal chops, dusty synths and virtuosic voice leading are just a few of the seeds that have been sown through this pack.

Chuck gives us a call from the studio to explain his process: "I love when my music can excite the most knowledgeable producers while engaging the most casual listeners,” he says, hands full of spliced tape. "These are sounds crafted from that self discipline; the sample you use to confuse your IDM homies one day could land a Bad Bunny placement the next.”
