OUR WOODWIND SERIES
We've sampled a handful of top woodwind players at the Teatro delle Voci in Treviso. This is the third volume of our woodwind series: Francesco Lovecchio: Solo Oboe. Francesco Lovecchio is a skilled performer and he's first oboe in many renowned musical projects in Italy and Europe.
The Solo Oboe features more than two octave and a half range, 3 dynamic layers for sustained articulations, 3 true legato articulations (tongued legato, legato espressivo and legato immediate vibrato), 4 Round Robins for staccato. We provide you the ability to create your unique sound by mixing the 3 microphones positions (Close, Mid and Far). The script features our Articulations Editor which allows to precisely control each of the articulations included and create your own ones. The sampling was made with top quality gear: Schoeps microphones, Neve and Millennia Media preamps.
DCE – DYNAMIC CONTROL ENGINE
When developing the library we tried to avoid over-processing the samples by using compression and normalization. Therefore we needed a special scripting device which could blend all the samples transitions in a very smooth and realistic way. We developed an external tool which analyzes the samples and imports this data into Kontakt called the Dynamic Control Engine. Thanks to the DCE, Kontakt knows the volumes of the samples currently playing in the instrument and matches the volume of the incoming samples with the previous ones. In the end the DCE works flawlessly "under the radar” leaving the user free to enjoy playing and building his expressive legato phrases.
PITCH WHEEL CONTROL
Furthermore, as you can see from the video below, the instrument features dynamic articulations like accented and crescendo attacks and the different legato articulations, dynamically controlled by the Pitch Wheel. This allows to craft beautiful musical phrases with a smooth beginning and a faded ending or abrupt accented notes with slurred passages along the way. The versatility of the DCE engine handles smoothly all these techniques.

We sampled a string trio of talented Italian musicians, Barbara (violin), Giada (viola) and Klaus (cello), at the amazing Teatro delle Voci in Treviso. The Violin features up to 3.5 octaves, 3 dynamic layers for sustained articulations, 2 legato types, 4 Round Robins for short articulations like Spiccato, Staccato and Pizzicato. We provide you the ability to create your unique sound by mixing the 3 microphones positions (Close, Mid and Far). The sampling was made top quality gear: Schoeps and AudioTechnica microphones, Neve and Millennia Media preamps.
Findasound Clara's Vocal v2.1 KONTAKT

Clara’s vocal library is created to fit the needs of the modern composer and sound designer, the first version of Clara’s Library with a true authentic legato. In v 2.0 there are two Legato Mode "Ah " & "Oh " switchable by keyswitch , which will make it easy to change articulations including legato sound in real time.The keysitches includes staccato "Ah " & "Oh. Release samples can be enabled/disabled with the ability to control their time and volume. Speed knob is provided to control sample offset - start of legato transition samples enabling user to control speed of legato. Vibrato is controlled with modulation wheel with the ability to control it's rate with a knob. Legato function can be turned on/off in case of playing chords for example. A unique function of having double Clara performance is provided through a button called double where user can get double Clara performance with different samples, round robins, and mic positions. Attack time can be controlled for all samples in the legato patch as well as the phrases patch.
